About Me

I'm Kirstie, creator of KRL Personal Training. In 2015, at the age of 25, I lost over 5 stone with a slimming group-a huge achievement. However, as I neared my goal weight, I found it increasingly difficult to stop losing weight and once I reached my goal weight, I struggled to maintain my progress without continuing to lose each week.  There were times when I even weighed in the heaviest shoes I owned to stop the scales from showing a loss. 

At 25, I realised that attending these groups for the rest of my life wasn't sustainable. I also felt that the support for anyone that's lost weight is little to non-existent and this is the hardest part! I began to calorie count and felt so much relief.

10 years on and I have maintained my 5 stone weight loss and I have healthy habits. I go to the gym consistently and fell in love with exercising so much that trained to be a fitness instructor, and then trained to be a Personal Trainer.

Through KRL Personal Training, I aim to coach people through their journey, no matter what it may be. Together, we will find a realistic, enjoyable approach to food and fitness-because true success comes from sustainability, not restriction.
